OMX Solutions Pty Ltd is delighted to announce the OsseoFrame™ subperiosteal implant system as winner of the 2020 Eureka International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (IIEC) – Award for Growth.

The Eureka IIEC is a prestigious annual entrepreneurial competition for technology innovators. Entrants are required to showcase both innovation and business plans to an expert panel for pitch judgment. This year 23 participating businesses were shortlisted from over 100 competition applicants. The OsseoFrame™ was entered by OMX Solutions in the Healthcare and Biotechnology focus area.

The OsseoFrame™, a subperiosteal implant system, provides a simple and affordable new treatment for patients living without teeth.

A simple surgical procedure implants a custom-made frame onto the maxilla or mandibular bone below the gum. Prosthetic teeth are then attached to the frame which can be performed on the day of surgery.

Surgery can also be performed in a dental chair and without requiring additional surgical procedures.

As the Australasian winner of the 2020 Eureka IIEC – Award for Growth, the OsseoFrame™ has also qualified to compete in September in the international competition and against teams from USA, Europe and Asia. The Eureka organisation and its’ established network of global customers, business partners and investors are the ideal audience to showcase innovations.

Eureka IIEC also acknowledges the partnership and support of the China-Jinan International High-Level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. OMX Solutions are excited to be a global finalist presenting the OsseoFrame™ amongst a wide range of credentialed global innovations from different industry sectors.
